Ok I cleaned up the numbers and it looks more like:
3743036

I counted the bolts on the pan there are 14.

I had a feeling that it was when I saw the pic.

Well you could take it apart and get orientated to how they come apart and go back together while you look for a 727 in the meantime.

The 904 and 727 are basically the same inside the 904 is just smaller. 
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

The 340 prob had a 727  the 904 takes a longer drive shaft , then the tq converter is different.  Now where are you at?  I am pulling a 727 out of my dodge truck that blew the pump bushing out and it would do well for you to build.

I'm actually in Colorado.  Thanks for the offer guys.  I'll just have to chaulk this one up to a learning experience.
