Yes,We did get it in Denver somewhere. I don't remember where exactly. Story was...       car was bought for this kids high school graduation in 1988. They paid 6500.00 for it. The kids dad had it fixed up for him I think.(insert 383)He got married in it. By the condition of the plugs and some other small things. He drove it for about 30-50K miles. They got it from the original owner (Co.) An old lady up in the hills.Err something like that...  When we came to pick it up his family was there taking pics. It was sad in a way. He loved that car.  We got it for 7900.00 Complete. Pulled the terrible plugs,Flushed the tank/filter.Been driving it ever since. It was completely oxidized paint. The burgundy red looked flat orange. It sat out on a dead end street for like 10 yrs. It went to a good home! She is on her way back to the streets. I need to dig up some pics of it when we got it.

You :villagers: .

I was trying to get this same car, but my "overseas" agent was too slow. Now I can see that it went to good home. Nice to follow your restoration!

HA!   That's funny. What a small world. It is a very dry car. Nice rockers,Floors,Window gutters,Frames,Ect...    I am very pleased with my purchase. Some dude came up to me last year and said he could have got it cheaper. And that he passed on it.    I told him he was a jacka$$.   Hey,If you see somethin' around my area you'd like someone to take a look at. Just let me know. I'd be happy to Pepe.

So I have been sanding a lot!!! Finally got close enough for a good prime. Now she sits for a few. It's looking pretty good. We've picked out gauges,Switches/dash layout for the most part. I guess we're going to go for the engine bay in paint too. The hood will be satin black as it sux. Can't afford a new one right now. Need to decide on seats that's about it. We cut and buffed the test valence. It looks great! (and it was crap!)I am very excited!  Buffed the 'cuda... It looks fantastic!

Thanx!   It's taken a lot to get to this point,Been sanding for weeks. There is only one perfect when it comes to this stuff. I see everything. And I mean every thing. It won't be perfect,Just a nice driver. A few more small spots, Some radius work... It will be fine. Besides if it's too nice I'll think it's a show car er something. :screwy:    It's going to be close though. After seeing the 'cuda buffed out and the test valence...   I'm dreaming of paint. The polishing was the 1 thing I just didn't know. Now I can see the end. And it's just the beginning for me.

I'm still sanding...
The rear quarters have taken a TON of work to get nice. I've wanted to give up a few times. The thing is just so darn BIG! WoW.  High build primer has helped. We've been going after some tough stuff. But when I wipe it down with a wet sponge it's all worth it. She's going to show straight. I see everything.  Scored some SATA jet spray guns. A digital for clear.  Passenger side is very close. Going back at the drivers soon.  While your snuggled up with your pillow I'll be sanding.     Some nice work going on out there in the restos.

After taking a little break... I'm back at it.  A new hood. And all new glass has arrived. It's motivated me to shoot this thing. The body is crisp. I've been really looking at all the chargers I see. There will be some slight imperfections in the reflections. But nothing real bad. If I make it perfect,I'll never drive it! ha. Did paint the dash n sum stuff. Played with the new sata guns. new hose filter/dryer.  Ever closer she gets....    I see I need to get some new photos of her...    :picture:
