    Flat black is ok but not my favorite. I absolutely do not like an unfinished look though. Nothing wrong with driving a car while working on it but to intentionally leave it with the appearance of being a project is just weird imo.

    My biggest issue with some of the 'beater' cars I've seen is that they're rusting and being left that way.  My gut tells me cool old cars are to be treasured and maintained and it just seems wrong to let rust consume what would otherwise be a restorable body, etc.  That said, I totally agree with what others have said that people can do whatever they want to their own cars .... I just don't have to watch!

    that car looks great (twisted fish?) in that dark gray. Here's two pictures I found in Aaron Becks thread. Dont know if they're photoshopped or not, but they are two extremes of the street look I like. And there's no reason the primer look has to mean the body will rust or be neglected. Its just another style.

    I guess I just got tired of worrying about someone scratching or denting my nice cars. I'm really enjoying driving my 71 Barracuda. It's nothing fancy and some people might even think it's a piece of junk. All I know is that I haven't had this much fun out running around in a musclecar in a long time. Kind of reminds me of my high school days back in the 70's. It's the kind of car that most of us drove to school.

    Here is a pic I took today of the Ratty R/T, IMO I like the ratty look as well as the fact of not having to worry about every little scratch/ ding or chip every time I drive it
    I plan on re-dong it eventually, but for now it is going to be my daughters HS car

    I like that Challenger. It reminds me of my son's high school car. We took a six cylinder 70 Challenger, put a 340 and 727 in it and just fixed up a nice driver. He was 16 at the time and is now 30 and wishes that he hadn't sold that one. He now owns a 70 Gran Coupe and another 70 Challenger. He plans to build them both later this year. He's collecting parts at the present time. The Challenger will be a driver and the GC will be his show car. That first car made him a dyed-in-the-wool mopar guy.

    I agree I usually like Mopars left stock , but man I love and appreciate all the custom features of twisted Fish!!! What an beautiful car!!! The custom lighting esp. gets me!! The dash and gauges is a work of art too!!
