Looking good, what's the story with the gauges?  Are those black ralleys?

Yeah the gauges are Rallye painted black.  It's an original Rallye dash car and though I have a good spare woodgrain dash I prefer them black so I went with it that way.

You know I think this is the first American car I have ever had where there is actually nothing missing or wrong in the interior.  It's a funny feeling !

Passengers get in and go "wow it's like getting in a new car", although I think It's partly the smell makes them say that.

I'm really enjoying driving it.

Now - can anyone identify the seat covers ?  They are not '72 'cuda.

UKCuda-
Is this a test?
Looking in the Year One catalog, none of the E-Body skins match.  Your's don't have a seam running up/down in the head rest.

The 1970 Coronet 500/Super Bee, "shallow elk grain inserts and coachman grain skirts", appear to be a match.  Need more pics of seats, preferably from the front.

Lets us know.

sorry, I'm being a bit naughty - the seat covers are not the same as anything.

An old guy who lives near my friend made them for me based on some photos I showed him of some '70s seats in a Satellite (I think it was).  He repacked the foam as well.  He did a really good job except he got the colour wrong.  He did them in grey which is why I had to dye them!

I don't know how he could have got it wrong as I picked the vinyl out of a samples book - but as I say he is an old guy.

Typical isn't it - the only thing on the car that I didn't do myself.
