Will a rallye headlight switch fit a non-rallye dash and harness?

I found a rallye headlight switch with the white dot for a decent price. It says it is for a 70-71 E Body only. Is there something special about the 70-71 switch other than the dot? I thought switches were interchangeable for 70-74.

Its the white dot. They all wire the same so you either have the white dot on both sides of the switch or it is smooth without the dot.
