My 21 year-old son had a friend (Dave) attempt to commit suicide as I mentioned in a previous post. He is still in the hospital, with serious brain damage. Thanks for your prayers for him.
I am not making the following up- it seems too bizzare to be real.
On Wednesday of last week, my son's friend Ryan, around 24 or so, commited suicide by hanging. No note, no reasons given- he seemed perfectly fine the day before.
The next day, my son found out a friend since grade school died of cancer. Age 21.
THE NEXT DAY, my son learned another friend had ended his own life by shooting himself. Good kid, college student, etc.
Three friends in three days, plus his buddy in the hospital still from his attempt. Quite a lot for a 21 year-old to handle. Pray for him and wisdom for me to know what to say to him.
