I seem to have the problem of, when I install something new then the part next to looks like crap ( im my head anyway) then I replace that part, and so on and so on.... I gotta mentally stop myself before I go broke!
I was wondering if you have that problem too? Like with all the new sheetmetal lookin all shiny and new where do you stop?  :grinyes:
Not that there's much left to replace though?  :roflsmiley:

Keep going!
You haven't even gotten to the fun part yet.

White dust all over you with body filler and primer stuck on your fingertips.
Yeah Mike....... I can't wait.  :eek4:

I have the same problem. I think I'm near the end of the patching and panel swapping, but I'll know more once everything is prepped and in primer.

Mike, every time I look at your thread, it amazes me a little more....Hats off to ya' buddy. I consider myself to be a pretty good metal man, but you blew me right out the water. Holy cats, your thread should be a mandatory read for new members that are thinking of a long term "project"....Just seeing your work is motivating, as I now know you got more done with a busy summer than i did with my "Busy" summer...

Keep the updates coming brother, and excellent work! :worshippy

Looks like your doing a great job.  You have a natural talent for metalwork, and your attention to detail doesn't hurt either:)
Keep up the good work   :2thumbs:

Much appreciated guys! Phil, I'm rapidly approaching the time I'm really going to need attention to detail.
Bart.... you'll be rolling on the floor laughing once you see my filler attempts!  :22yikes:
Here are some more photos, as promised. These panels don't just fall into place. There is some stretching, banging and bending (as many of you folks already know). I did, however, manage to make the stuff fit pretty tight! Then, lots of grinding.   :eek4:

All I have left is the left panel in the engine compartment, and convert to a 26" radiator opening, then I'll be done with panel hanging.

Thanks again Guys! Good to hear from you David! I'm going to need to give you a call pretty soon.

Here are some more progress photos. I'm getting to the end of the panel replacement. I only have to convert to 26" radiator opening, move the car home, then on to some fun mock up stuff on the car.
