  • Miss NIKKI - were you this hot at 48?
Well I made it out to the garage today. Within the first 5 mins under the hood I drew blood (again!)
Probly wouldnt be so bad if I had more hair left.
70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!

Last time I looked under the hood right before I put the convertible away last year was probably my worst hit ever.  Had scars for a couple weeks and the blood was flowin' for a least 2 days.  Tough to comb your hair   . . .  :banghead:

as Barry said T/A doesn't have one and I took it off the other two. Just have to remember the hood pins. They really hurt.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you put a remote hood release it gets rid of that darned thing doesnt it? I did it once before with my 70 'Cuda and plan to do it again with my 71 Challenger. Main benefit is no one can pop the hood without gaining access to the interior. I dont know how many times I have done the same thing, its in just the right spot to be out of sight and therefore out of mind.

I always say that the gods of high performance require a blood sacrifice every now and then.

that having been said, I don't think I've ever been nailed by the hood latch  :smokin:
