Best way to mount Shaker Hood Seal to Adapter Ring???
« on: March 09, 2010 - 01:28:01 PM »
What is the best way for me to mount a new Shaker Hood Seal to the Adapter Ring? Do I simply just have to glue the flat surface of the seal to the edge of the ring all the way around? If so, what adhesive should I use?

I used contact cement.Glue it and then use blue painters tape to hold it down.Tape it and let it sit for 24 hours.

:iagree: Put the cement on both the seal and the adapter, wait for it to get tacky, they install it.  Warning, once you press them together, you can not get them back apart!
