CC.COM welcomes EASTWOOD to our group !!!
« on: March 10, 2010 - 10:57:59 PM »
Hey Guys,

Very good news!  EASTWOOD has stepped up and is sponsoring our Member's Restoration Projects board.  We will be offering some interesting promotions with EASTWOOD that I think you all will like.  69ChargerRT is working on the graphic that should be up soon that details an immediate 15% discount to all board members using the code "cuda" when ordering....with others to be announced soon.

I personally use many of their products and have found them outstanding.  Quite frankly this was the prerequisite for them to get an invitation to be here.  I believe your association with them will make your restoration projects go better.  My favorite is their home powder coating kit....can you believe that?  Home powder coating!  I will post some pics soon of the carb work I've done using their kit.

And we hope to have other members post their stories regarding the use of EASTWOOD's products.  They want to hear it good or bad.  If bad they can listen and improve.

More to follow......

I used one of the spray gray products on 69ChargerRTs 6-pack carbs and manifold and it looked amazing.  I think you saw it.  Is this the spray gray you are talking about?

Probably , I use it on most of the restos I do , anywhere that you want the natural steel or alum look , sometimes it is tough to tel wher you have painted the color match is so close

 That's really great news
I've used their products in the past, and will be needing a TON more in the near future.
Everytime I've called Eastwood and had questions they could not have been more helpful.
Very cool :2thumbs:

Also I forgot to mention, we came out with a Argent Silver Metallic Textured Coat paint aimed directly at the Mopar crowd fairly recently. This is a great way to recreate that rough "sandpaper" like finish found on the tail light surrounds.

Are you able to mail stuff to Alaska via US Mail yet? The last time I tried to order it was not offered.

(Non HAZMAT stuff of course, I know paints can not be mailed)

Thanks,
Barry
