6-Pak Carb Adjustment
« on: March 15, 2010 - 12:12:18 PM »
I am trying to dial in the idle setting on my 340 6-Pak.  With the idle mixture screws inaccessible on the rear carb, I would like to, at least, start with a setting that is reasonably close so I don't have to keep pulling it to re-adjust.  Does anyone know what it should be set at (approximately)?  Everything is stock with the exception of a Lunatti 60402 street cam.

I have been told that you can set up the front carb, swap it for the back one, and the fine tune the setup with the "new" front and center carb.  I haven't tried this yet, but it seems reasonable. :2cents:

Typically I set the rear carb mixture screws around 1/2 -3/4 turn out from bottom
