:angelwings:  She is a sweetie Drew, and already has a full head of hair. Glad to hear all is going well for your family. What does big brother think of his new lil sister?  :2thumbs:
so far he loves her. he wants to hold her and help feed her. when she cries he gets her glow worm and makes it play music, puts her pacifier in her mouth and says shhhhhh...shhhhh, and then starts crying himself when he cant calm her down.

Well here is the latest from the Drew Saga.

Maile was diagnosed as having a problem with her heart. Something about an artery not being fully developed and pumping blood back into the heart and to the muscles not just the muscles like it should. After two weeks of waiting to hear what was going to happen I finally called the cardiology clinic and asked what was up. They said that the two cardiology boards that they sent the findings to decided that surgury is not needed right now and they are just going to observe her. So I will be deploying still and just kept in the loop if anything has to happen. If surgery is needed while i am gone they will call me back or schedule for when i get back. The doctors also thing that she may have GERD (Gastro Esophogeo Reflux Disease (or something like that)).

Anyway, that is the update on her...

As for the Dodge, I was working on it but when welding in a new rear window channel a spark flew behind the back seat and caught fire. I unbolted the back seat and got the fire out but that is where we stopped. She is sitting in the garrage and will more than likely get some attention tomorrow.

As for me, We made sure last friday that I was not having any more kids. so needless to say i am sore as SH*T!  :roflsmiley: I hope that everyone out there is doing well and i will talk to you all soon.

Drew

Sure hope she can overcome this Drew, did they say there may be some chance she could "outgrow" this condition? Certainly if surgery is the only option they would wait as long as they could so she could grow stronger, plus the operation would be easier because of larger organs through growth. Thanks for the update and please keep us informed.   :angelwings:

They said that they are going to watch and that it could fix itself. We have another appointment on the 17th so I may have more of an update then.

Hey Drew,
My daughter had GERD when she was born. She threw up all the time (once in her mother's face). She did outgrow it with no signs that she ever had it & is now a happy healthy 17 year old. Hope the same works out for your child!!

Matt,

I hope she works out the same. My son had GERD too but he still easily throws up all the time. he is 3 now. Hopefully they will both get over it  :puke: .

Maile is on zantac right now and it seems to work pretty well.
