Can anyone tell me what this part is called?

Can anyone tell me what this part is called and how many of them that I am supposed to have on my car? I only have one on the Passengers side under the frame between the K Frame bolts. It is made of Plastic. I was wondering if I was supposed to have one on the driver's side as well?

It looks like the repros come with rivets to hold them on.  Just so everybody knows, that was a 1970 thing only.  All other years used screws.  Obviouslly there could be a few exceptions during the change over.  Some 70's could have screws or some 71's could have rivets.

I can only find one of mine.  It cleaned up real nice but I'll have to seach for the other one.  I guess it pays to be organised during dissassembly.

Mine had screws & I wondered if they were OE as they seem very long with course threads, looked like small lag bolts, I've seen nothing like them anywhere else on the car....  Any chance yours look like that?

The bolts used on the sheilds are the same ones used on the starter splash sheild as well as the ones used to mount the muffler sheilds to the frame in the rear.  I want to say they have a 3/8 or 7/16 head with a built in washer.  I also think they have a cutting groove at the tip.  The built in washer isn't smooth on the bottom.  It has ribs on it.

I can try to find a pic of it.

Thanks mine don't look like that...the front had body work & I'll bet they threw on whatever was at hand.
