    HI Guys.

    I got me a new radiator stock replacement from summit. But i´am not happy with it. The fan swich a placed at the top of the radiator, with some heating problems. So I am looking for a better one maybe a aluminum. Can you guys recommen one.

    Ifs for a 318/904 approx 300 hp

    I picked up a 22-inch one from RockAuto.  Been working great with my 318

    On the rock auto rad are there place for a fan swich.

    It was a factory replacement so no it didn't have one.  My car came with a mechanical fan on the engine.  I added an electric fan and used the sensor that sits between the rows.

    I got mine off Fleabay. They are 100% tig welded and the quality is nice. It dropped right in and the fit was spo on. If you don't need a fan or shroud you can pick one up for a song.

    How stock appearing was your radiator from Rockauto?  I'm either going to recore mine or buy a new one but want it to look stock.

    looks like it belongs there.  Its black and has the same shape and bolted right up, but in all fairness the one I replaced it with was from a 69 Satellite with the bottom connection on the wrong side.

    New replacement radiators usally don't have the numbers on top of tanks.

    I have heard the quality is good. I have also heard grumbling on here about fitting. You should google Champion radiators and read what other owners in different forums have to say. I generally think you get what you pay for but I love mine and it fits like a glove.

    The Be Cool rads are great, but pricey.

    I had one of those cross flows from summit for my 440.  It didn't cool well and didn't fit stock or except the stock shround.  I bought the champion one form e bay.  It was a 3 core.  It dropped right in to the original mounting holes and cooled like a charm.  The stock shroud bolted right on.  I was very happy.  It doesn't look like an expensive radiator but my 440 doesn't know that.  You don't always get what you pay for.  Sometimes you pay for what you don't get.

    I had a Be Cool radiator in my dart back in the day, kept the car very cool, but yes it was pricey. Check out Champion if you're looking to save some cash. THey look nice and get great reviews but I don't have any first hand experience with them or know anybody who has one.

    I am running the Be-Cool set up in my car.  Lots of horsepower in a cramped engine bay and it runs cool all day long....    :2cents:
