Eastwood sells a patch kit. Can anyone tell me how the pad is attached? Is it glued, or just clamped in place?

Depending on how small your leak is, we have had good results with out tank sealer kit filling, sealing and repairing pinholes in old tanks. Might be easy option until you get around to tackling replacing the tank? Helps we offer the cuda-challenger member 15% discount too

Also I've had success using this epoxy to fill/cover leaks in tanks. Smooth it on with a putty knife evenly and let cure.

My tank also developed several pin hole leaks many years ago. I replaced mine with a tank that came from a '70 Cuda for $15 from the junk yard. I did not remove the rear valance and had no problems installing it. I reused my original pick-up and sending unit. Just my 2�
