Is it maybe loading up?  It might be your power valve.

you may also need to adjust the pump squirter or go a step up. Like from a 28 to a 31 squirt

You guys are too funny. No Chevy carbs going on my baby, I will stick to what Chrysler wanted (at least for its 4 barrel cars)  :stirpot:

Yeah, I messed up......But mopar did use holley carbs too.

 :ylsuper:         I got 3 holley carbs on my engine.  Sorry I am not experienced at tuning a carter, they never seemed to work right for me :roflsmiley:

an instant stumble is usually lean , this can be low float level or not enough fuel squirted in as the throttle is opened , , the closer the link is the to pivot in the upper arm the more fuel is added so you can move the link in & see if that helps , usually I have to buy the 3 pack of squirters just to get the one bigger one they offer & swap it in
