Does it look like it was ever repainted? Or is it original?

she has been repainted. after talking with the son, he thought dad had a minor accident with the front drivers fender. they replaced with a donor (yellow) and repainted. not a spectacular paint job imo, but liveable. i went over the car with a magnet i made to check panels with and can't find any bondo, fill issues. car is really straight. car has sat most of the last 20 years, the last 4 outdoors. i haven't really gone over the car yet, but i had my mech.next door put it on a hoist to see what its needs for the safety certificate and apparently the car was the talk of everyone coming thru. really nice upper and lower. found some minor issues, but nothing serious at this point.i haven't got time right now to really go over it, but i am not dissapointed so far. the interior is a tad rougher than i thought. more on that later. i am beginning to think 25k might be original. i haven't looked to see if the odom is working. the son thought it could very well be. will post some more pics soon.
so, what do I do with it now? I didn't need her, but she needed a home. I doubt I will get to drive her any more than the chally. what do you think?

oh yea, no fender tag either. will have to look for  b/c sheet(s). son's going to see if his father can remember if he has anything for the car.

What do I think?  Drive it and enjoy it, you don't want a trailer queen, alternate between the Cuda & Challenger, one week at a time while the weather permits.   :woohoo:
Fly the MOPAR flag, it will create interest and you never know somebody might offer you good money for it and then it will be a win win situation, you have enjoyed the Cuda and made extra money.   :money:

Congrats on the purchase!  It looks like it will be a very nice car with either a good cut & buff on the paint w/some cleaning in the interior or if you decide to give it another respray; either way, it should look very nice & be very presentable. :2thumbs:

Yes, tinted windows. I think I read somewhere about tinted and air going hand in hand on these cars. Maybe someone can chime in on that. I like windows down and she will not see our winters here, so I'm considering taking the air out of her. Maybe it will give me more room for a hemi!

I'd personally remove/replace the tint film from the windows, looks like a lot of air pockets in them. Makes it appeard a bird has crapped all over the place.  :roflsmiley:  :2cents:  No, you won't need the AC too much up where you live, but if it's original to the car depending on other original equipment you may want to leave it original.?  She sure does look nice, just think what a good paint job will do for her.  :2thumbs:
