I made mine. I bought 2 1000 lb moving flat furniture rollers and attached it to it. The underside, I made angle iron cross bracing to connect each one together, bolted underneath.

There's many ways you can do it if you decide to make it yourself.

Or you can buy one already made. U.S Cartool makes a nice one but they're not cheap.

once you put the engine in thru the bottom one time i don't think you will go back it is way easier and scratch free!!!

while you have it all apart is the best time to build the frontend. inspect the lower control arm bushing really good! it is a high stress area on our mopars!

GOOD DEAL I will check them out,i have been messing with drag car stuff some im not up to par on the stock stuff,i have ran the magnumforce frontend so im know them..i dont have a clue on this stuff,my car had the 318 in it and 10 years ago i put the mild 440 in it,and i changed everything under there at that time and put maybe a 150 miles on it,but i got into racing and the car set and everything started going down hill from there so ill look everything over..thx buddy

Lol....I used two medium sized cable spools that I had laying around (250 mcm). Supported the engine on one and the trans on the other. However, I did line the k-member up, raised the car up, and built everything around the lined up k-member. I ended up being ~.5" off, but a crowbar took care of that....If I have to do it again, I will build something like shown in this thread - but if you're doing it once, you might be able to rig something up to get it done.

Yea farmboy if you can give me the dimensions that would be nice..i seen a pic somewhere with a engine on it,i think it had something to do with a powersteering pump and i seen this in action..everyone has some great ideas but i got a 1970 to do after i get done with my 71..so im getting everthing i can to make the 70 easier to do,cause its going to need a lot of work its a numbers matching 383 car though with the shifter on the column.

Here is a diagram for the rack. I can mail or fax it to anyone who needs it. There is a few up grades in the diagram that are going to be done to the rack pictured.
This will work on any Mopar K frame for the common A,B OR E bodys with either auto or manual trans. Be sure to use wheels that are high enough to clear your engine crane legs.
