     ;) J/K HH, You are right, hard to laugh at any color on the 6Pak. It will actually look sweet, I am partial to the plum too!  ;D  As I mentioned parking those in my garage, that 6Pak 70 is real streight, is it as solid throughout as it appears in the photo? I think you showed that on another thread but I cannot remember where. Show us some more pics of the whole cars!  8)

    car was  in airplane hanger in texas getting dusty since 1981,old guy died and estate sold contents of property.
    car is real solid and has NO rust except a 3 inch hole in trunk. Interior is SHOT, but has ralley dash, underside,
    perfect...........I got lucky..

    I've done this before but as an update

    NIL finished MOPARS as I have just sold my 1970 Valiant Regal Hardtop.
    Projects under some form of construction:
    1966 Ap6 Valiant sedan with slant six just about ready for paint (this one will be my daughter's first car & has to be ready for her 17th birthday in December)

    1970 Challenger awaiting some rust repairs around the front screen opening before fitting a new 360 (have to finish the daughter's car first)

    1939 Fargo pickup truck hot rod project. This ones about halfway but has taken a back seat to the other pair for the past year or so, I'll get back to it next year I hope.

    1973 Challenger Rallye  340-4/auto/JY3/A6XW/V6X/V1Y/non-numbers/build date on tag is 426 ;D

    1986  D250 Custom 3/4 ton pick-em-up 318/auto PA1 Brite Silver/Original owner/have build sheet and window sticker ;D ;D

    Presently just the one 68 cuda fastback...but iI wish I had the ones I bought new back in 69 and 70 and 71...I could retire a rich man today ...hindsite 20/20 i guess

    Hey Outlaw!  Welcome to the board.  I would love to see you start a new thread introducing yourself and maybe telling us about all those cars you bought new back in 69 and 70!!   And if you have pics you can post, that would be great!!

    sure ..no prob ...it just makes me wantta cry everytime I see some astrinomical price for a 69 or 70 hemi cuda or 6 pak cuda. Bought my 70 6 pak cuda for a blistering price of $6700 (about $400 more than a Cadillac Coupe De Ville of that year)...LOL Paid $2400 for my first roadrunner in 69 from the dealer (383 4 speed ralleye green with white vinyl top and interior ) traded in my 64 comet cyclone  (289 4 speed)and remember the payments were only $88.00 a month (pay more than that a month for gas today ) which didnt seem steep for a 10th grader even back then. Now here is where the tears start...traded that in on a yellow and black 70 hemi cuda convertible for the outrageous price of my green roadrunner and $2700 more dollars...now you see why the tears...LOL followed by a 70 hemi roadrunner convertable that was so ugly the dealer didnt even want it. Black with burnt orange interior AND  a burnt orange rag top! Was so ugly even dogs wouldn't whizz on the wheels. Then traded it in on a poorly optioned 70 6 pak cuda, with auto on the coloum, 2.76 gears, electric windows and indash 8 track! Only redeeming feature was that it was midnight blue metalflake with a shaker hood and looked fast when parked. No 1/4 mile terror but on the interstate it was never beaten.But after an extended run from the law it was severly wounded so I traded down for a 69 hemi roadrunner auto that was my true baby. Kept that and street  raced it all around the midwest for 5 years with more than decent sucsess. Now that was one fast hemi ( the others never really impressed me ) but this one had the heart of a champion and the more I asked of it the more it delivered with only one minor failure in 5 merciless years ( thru no fault of its own)I have a good pic of it somewhere and will post it later with the only pic of the 6 pak too
