Oooohh, I really like these!  I assume they cost a lot but didn't see any prices listed.  I'm sorta stuck between these and a mesh wheel.  I also didn't see any pics of these on a car....

Kind of liking the Five-Hundred myself. Sure would like to see some pricing. Under $300 each would be nice, but I won't hold my breath.

these really made my day when I found em.  apparently they used a blade of utter coolness to cut em out of a block pure awesomeness. Which seems like they are made specifically for e bodies

I know of one board member who has an order in for these.....I won't spoil his revealing of the wheels when they come in but I'm pretty sure he'll be updating his build with them soon!    Yeah and they're not a cheap wheel. Yeah they're more than some would like to spend but they do run sales and group buys often.

Bleh. I really love the original Minilite look, but these definetly lost something in translation. Maybe the step lip version will look better.

BTW, you can get real, original, Minilites in custom widths and backspaces for around $1200 a set. Only draw back is they only come in 15" diameters, so cheap tires are out of the question.

I was not going to voice my opinion...but now that you did...I agree....these strike me as ugly as well

Dang.....tough crowd. I guess if it isn't 80s style, OEM, etc. or otherwise there cannot be changes made? Hey bias ply polyglass tires are great too!  I guess we all have opinions, but I like them. I also like OEM rallys, dogdish, 500s, etc. Heck, Keystone Classics were cool in 1980 also!

I'm not stabbing here, just suprised at the lack of support for a Pro-Touring or modern look if it goes with modern upgrades to the vehicle. It's not like the wheels are 22s or anything.......

The size isn't the issue for me, it's the asthetics of the interpretation that I don't like. It has 8 curved spokes, but that is where the similarities end IMO. There are some 17" styles I like,and no they aren't exact copies of old stuff, but in general, most 18+ rims don't appeal to me and the biggest reason is because of the emphasis put on making the hoop look bigger and bigger by removing steps and character lines in the design until they are simply a smooth hoop. But then again, I don't like black wheels either, so  guess I'm turning the corner to old fartdom.

IMO, Team 3 has a much better looking Minilite interpretation in 17", and are less costly too.

I like the looks of the Team 3 wheels too, but $300-$400 for a cast wheel is nuts. That's forged/billet money.

Haven't seen a price mentioned for the subject wheels yet, but I suspect they are priced well above my meager budget.

Me, I don't like the look of the wheels...size has nothing to do with it.  If they looked like real Minilites, I would like them.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.   

Keystone Classics were cool in 1965 as well!

I am not a sponsor on here and hope I am not stepping on any toes by posting up a pic.  Grimmey71 was kind of enough to link me to this post and thought I check out the forums.  The Lite wheel is as close as New Gen could get it with 3D milled 2 piece billet to an original MiniLite. They are making them in a fat lip and traditional step lip.  Might not be everyones cup of tea, but seems to be very popular when people see the wheels on a car.  Here is a pic of my 69 Camaro with a set on.  Not big on posting GM stuff on a Mopar site but I noticed a member asked to see a pic on a car.
