Today I installed new ball joints in the LCAs, a new pitman arm, a new idler arm, and new poly K-Frame bushings.

Its all finished, all I need now is to get my new tires mounted and an alignment.
My thoughts so far are
- the car corners much flatter and surer
- my headers no longer scrape after bumps
- Much better steering response
- the 1.06" bars could be a little too much for my GR-2's but thats the best I can get
- my 1-1/8" front sway bar may be a little too much
- i desperately need an alignment
- I want some frame connectors
- I still have a popping sound when quickly cornering

The popping noise really has me stumped I checked everything over and its all tight. Also I has the same noise before the rebuild and thought it was the ball joints. I can only hear the noise I cant feel it in the wheel.

Describe the popping... Do you have your brakes on?...Is it one pop or several?

It is one single pop almost like somebody tapped the frame with a hammer. If you slowly turn into the turn it doesn't do it but if you turn quickly it does. The brakes are not on and it doesn't change if they are. I changed out the K-frame and torsion bar cross member bushings with poly in the K-frame and aluminum in the cross member. I am sure the K-frame is tight but will check and re-torque the cross member.

Really? Actually my rear one is shot. So I guess it slides side to side on sharp turns, makes sense. Will try replacing that
