« on: March 26, 2010 - 08:39:30 AM »
just installed the quarter glass on one side of my 73 Cuda, and it seems to roll up and down fine, but only comes down about 6-8 inches.Does this sound about right?

I haven't put my Cuda windows in yet, but have done my Challengers and installed them for others. In Challengers they go all the way down. Do you see anything that would be stopping it? Could the gear be hitting a bad tooth? Does the other side have the same amout of travel?

Yep,found what is wrong. The regulator arm.on the down stroke is just catching the horazontal track near the wheelwell where the other end of the arm slides.Been working on it for a while now, with no luck.Think ill try the other side next and see if that works.

I have always had a hard time getting E-body quarter windows all the way down. Always seems like there is a small shark fin sticking up. Maybe I have just had bad luck or something. This goes for both 'Cudas and Challengers I have owned.
