It was an option on a certain C bodies then. Which one, I don't recall since I'm not big on C bodies. I know this because I saw a couple with it many years ago at a junk yard a long time ago.

I think it was an Imperial I saw it on. I bet you could've taken off everything and it would fit.

Just looking in my book, Mopar Suspensions it talks about the Imperial system. They say the parking brake is a mini drum unit inside the rotor, sounds too expencive to me, and good luck finding parts? special backing plate, rotor etc....

Hi Guys.

Thanks for the replys.

I ask becouse. In Denmark can it be a problem to get the car approved with reardisks if it not was a factory option. Its up for me to documentere it was a possible to get at that time.. I will try to find out the option code for Imperial system maybe i can use that.
In Denmark we have a hard time to get any improvement approved at the authorities  :bricks1:

Can you use factory rear disc's off another car and  keep them happy? If so lots of other factory set ups available/possible? Cheaper and more readily available too.
Eg. On my Buick I have a factory 9" rear with stock Lincoln Versailles rear disc brakes.
They work great!

Danish - I know this is a little long way to get around the system. Why don't you just put the standard drums on the back, take it for certification, come home and change them? Rules were made to be broken.

Our government in the U.S. is heading the same way as fast as it can, everything for the 'greater good' you know....  I really don't look forward to our continued slide towards a European style government.  Sorry to hear about your struggles just trying to improve your own car and many of us will be in the same boat soon enough.
