Front disk pad

Hi was looking for some front disk pad on the internet and came across this site that said there is 2 kind of pad you can use .They said you can get a pin type pad and slider type pad .Was woudering what type is better if there is 2 kind ,This is for my 73 challenger .Where is the best place to get pad for a good price also got some price in town they go for about 60.00$ to 80.00$ .This is where i saw that

You get the pads to match your calipers..73 came with pin, has the two long stainless bolts/rods that run through the calipers .



I searched high and low a few years ago looking for a "better" pad than the standard issue that everyone listed.... Finally ran across Wagner Thermo Quite  MX39...They were listed at Oreilly's as semi metallic.  Fit was right on....time will tell how good they are but the box says Made in USA, for what that's worth.

Here is a good over view of performance pads. Won't help much with origianl E body pads, but could be motivation to upgrade to a caliper that can use differing compounds.
