Dogs in your E bodies
« on: March 28, 2010 - 05:02:48 PM »
Does anyone else let their dogs ride in the car? My cars are unrestored and I let my dog ride all the time, I think that even restored I would let him.

I suppose I could stop taking the dog but I know he likes the E-bodies as much as I do. I nearly have him trained on which car we are taking and he knows the difference. I say Cuda, he goes to the Cuda, I say Challenger, he goes to the Challenger :roflsmiley:

My son and I trained him unwittingly, by saying, everytime we were taking one of them "Cuuuda or Chaaaalenger" and I noticed he would go between them and look kind of confused. So now every time we take either I/ we say the word and he is off and waiting. He also knows when I say "lets go to work" to go to the truck

My 72 cuda was used as a dog house for a german shepard for 6 months when I found the car and bought it for 100 bucks in like 1983 or so.  The dog was chained to the car. The windows were left down and passenger door left open. It didnt even put a scratch on any interior panels or nothing. Just laid across the seat and console.  I still have the car to this day........dog gone

I paid 100 bucks for the car with no tittle.  Got one from alabama tittle company. The people were going through a divorce. Car came with the 340, a 318, 400, and a 392 hemi.  I thought it was a fantastic bargain at the time.

x2

Make the X3.  Besides my car is black and my dog is white, and she sheads alot.  I do let her in the garage while i am working on it and she likes to look at the inside with longing eyes, but knows better than to get in.

Do you call it that for what it is or is it what your dog hangs on to do once inside.   :22yikes:   :roflsmiley:

Don't own a dog, so that is settled. But even if I did...........no way, no how..hell no !  I might consider allowing 4C's "dog" getting a ride, but it's hard to even class him as a dog, ever see that lil thing?  :roflsmiley:  I don't like/allow any animals around my cars, claws and paint don't mix, and I sure don't like cleaning dog pee off my rims or dog poo out of my tire thread.  It's bad enough putting up with inconsiderate people at car shows.  :banghead:

Our two love riding in the Jeep Liberty with the back seats down and thier dog beds inside or my truck but no way are they filling the cuda with dog hair!Besides they wouldn`t like the loud exhaust.
