Superstocks - which side...PICS
« on: October 01, 2004 - 07:58:40 PM »
Well I got my 3300 lbs superstocks today and put them on with the B-body rear and the 3/4 inch bolt in relo kit.  I will post pics later tonight if you guys want to see the  approximate stance, spring relo using the top hanger hole, etc with the 17x9.5's.  It is not quite as low as I had hoped but we'll see what it is like when the car is finished and full weight, interior in, etc.  One question though.  I got the Mopar springs part number P4120865 and P4120866.  I put the 66 on the drivers side and the 65 on the passenger side.  Is this the right set up or did I get it backwards?  Let me know if you want to see the pics, I won't bother if nobody needs to see them.

Also, how much more do you guys think it will drop when the car is full weight?  Or do you think it would look better with a bit taller tire on the rear, that one is 285x40x17.  I have room to go to a taller height tire but not much more room until it would rub the spring, also I don't want it to look funny.  I will be putting 245x45x17's on the front.  If I was to dearc the springs a little would I run into problems with the rear shackles hitting the rear valence?

So according to 360 I have it right but Chryco you think its backwards???  Wait, the right side of the car is the Passenger side and the left side is the drivers side right?

right is passenger side + the Mopar performance catalog lists all the SS spings with even to the right except the set you have , probably a misprint , I have never seen a Mopar part with an odd # on the right side ever
