The one on the right (passenger side) has more leafs.

Mancini also lists them as:   MOPAR - 3300 lbs. - Right MOPP4120865

                                     MOPAR - 3300 lbs. Left MOPP4120866

Anyone with thought on how far it will come down with wieght as a thought here are two pics, 1st pic is the car as it is now with the ss, relo kit using teh top hole and b-body rear and 2nd pic is car with original rear, OE springs, hangers and shackles, etc  My point is even in the 2nd pics the car is not very low, guess I'l just have to try it with more weight.  Any ideas for tire size?

Or I could just scrap the whole works, buy a set of these
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33584&item=7925602380&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
and call it done?  however, I do kind of like the look of the narrowed rear?

I don't know what size tire to tell you but that would look real good with the wheel well filled in with all tire! Check out some of the other members rides and you will see what I mean. Go to e-body pictures and see all the large tires that fill in that space. With the SS springs, you will be sitting pretty once you get the correct tire size to fill it in. Just my opinion but that is what it looks to be the case in most of the ones with the SS springs.  ;D

It came down/settled a little over night, about the width of one of my fingers.   I think at this point the best thing for me to do is wait until I have the car at its finished wieght before I worry anymore about ride height.  I'm hoping it will come down at least another inch with the weight of the engine, trans, interior, spare, glass, driveshaft, etc.  Have to remember it is just a very light shell right now.  Plum6Pak, I do want to fill the wheelwells but it is a pretty big tire/wheel combo to begin with.  Even though the tire is just a 40 series the wheels are 17's.  I'm Hoping to stay with about this size of tire and get away with it.  If worse comes to worse I'll take it to a spring shop and have them dearch the springs a little or just switch to Abodies at that time, although I like the idea of running the superstocks as the car will hook up well with them.

The car is continuing to drop ;D  Hope it keeps going, by the time I add more weight I should be close to where I want.  8pack, agreethe car needs to be lower or the tires larger, lets see those 28inch tires.  Actually, does that mean they are 28 inches from one side of the tire to the other, never really knew where that measument was taken from.  Is there a calculation I can do or a chart to figure out what size tire I would have to go with to get a 28 inch diameter?  Actually, if the car was just lower it would be fine, like this car, same size wheels and tires.

Did anyone ever come up with a definitive answer as to whether I put the springs on the right side or not???  The one with more leafs towards the front of the spring (ie directly in front of the ubolts I count 6 leafs, and directly behind the ubolt I count 4) is on the passenger side, and on the drivers side I count 4 leafs directly in front of the ubolt and 5 leafs directly behind the ubolt,  (part numbers ending in 65 on the right, 66 on the left),  as the mopar and mancini catalogue said to do,  does this seem right???  This should mean that the passenger side would sit a bit higher wouldn't it?  And isn't that a common trait of superstocks, a little higher on the passenger side?  I understand that usually the even part numbers go on the right (passenger side) but not for my application according to part numbers, so if it is a part number mix up shouldn't I be able to count the leafs to figure it out?  The part numbers, etc are listed a little further back in this thread.  Thanks for the help guys, I know it sounds a little confusing, I hope you can make sense of it.  Tyler

The Chassis book sez the pn 4120865 goes on the right side

4120866 for the left

This is correct

Don't panic, you have them on the correct sides ;)
