well I think I did it.... but not without a few complications...
Started the night by installing the new buchillon pulley.. I get an anti-freeze drip...
I swaped out the pulley and rehung the pump hoping no more leak....?
I finished configuring the dipstick tube, and put the insulation back on it. It needs it being right along the ext man. Idid throw a dab of RTV black on it before I put it in. I lined it up gave it a tap and its in. I thought about fabing a bracket, but its in there tight! I will check after running it a few times and go from there.
You can use the stock tube w the schu mounts... buts its SLOW TEDIOUS AND A BIT TRICKY.
compare the stock pics to the final bends...
So I figure lets check the oil... the stick READS!!!! Its low tho but she is jacked up pretty good! If I have to remark the stick when shes on the ground so be it... at least I know where I'm at.
Now it is time to fire her up/check again for leaks while shes still up on the stands........
Click.... WTF>................ click..............
Now what... the main starter lead just a tad loose...
I will say If you install a MINI starter on a HEMI the clearance to snug up the main lead is MINIMAL at best.... BEWARE! I ground down a wrench to help things along.
I get her fired up, after a few mins shes warm enuff to idle. The Bouchillon pulley runs dead nuts! Although I think the belt runs a little close to the fan pulley. I SEE NO LEAKS
And my REGULATOR reading is looking good too!!
Tomorrow ...back on the ground. Check the oil. And out for a test drive!!
