'73 Challenger long brake line routing...
« on: April 09, 2010 - 06:30:31 PM »
I am replacing all the brake lines on my '73.

On the long line that runs from the bottom of the proportioning valve down and along the longitudinal frame rail to the rear of the car and the hose that "y"s to feed the two axle lines...........

The one that was on the car was not routed properly and had only a couple of clamps on it.  I yanked it off without paying much attention to how it was routed in the mistaken belief that it would be obvious as to how the new one would fit.  It's not  :screwy:

Does anyone have any pictures from the bottom side showing how the line should fit to the frame rail as it comes down from the valve as well as locations of the various clamps along the way and the route  behind the tire as it goes back to the hose?

I would greatly appreciate it.  thanks! :)

I think I probably have it figured out...found a mark where a clamp originally was.  The rear pics really helped as the line was just hanging back there and not routed at all.  thanks!
