71 Cuda : Replacing outside door handles; PIA?

My 71 Cuda outside door latches are getting really ratty:   Ive got a new set:   Are changing them out a big PIA?

They are only held on by one nut that is accessed using ratchet with an extension thru an opening behind the door panel. The toughest part is getting the linkage for the door lock and door latch on and off. Having large hands is a handicap there, but long fingers help.

Cuda is convex curve challenger is concave (might have that reversed but they are opposite of each other) on the shape of the hndle body to match the door contour.
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
