dragging discs
« on: April 12, 2010 - 01:04:05 PM »
The manual front disc brakes on my Challenger seem to be dragging. I believe these are a Master Power conversion kit.

Had the front end up off the ground, and while I could turn the wheels, they won’t spin. There is definitely a lot of drag.

Pedal is coming up all the way, and I even shortened the rod a bit to see if it needed to come up further (it didn't)

What might be causing this issue? And how do I fix it?

di you have a disc brake master cylinder on it ? the drum brake master has a 10 lb residual pressure valve inside it & could be causing the drag

contact Master power
there has to be a residual pressure problem in the master or proportioning valve or the caliper is not retracting properly

:iagree:   , if both wheels drag chances are pretty slim it's a caliper issue, Gotta be the wrong M/S .
