All Politicians want to do is spend our money, someday we will need to pay for all this debt we have, I worry about the future my kids will have. I don't have any faith in either the Republicans or Democrats

Sorry, but the IMPACT is going to be soon, in OUR lifetime, not years from now but NOW.  It only took about 5-6 years for Hitler's government to completely take over in the 40's.  Seems HE was elected by a large majority also before making all the socialist changes to Germany and Austria and becoming a dictator.  :2cents:

I agree ...  small caps obama momma say now I can be proud of this country .
So lets get wright ya awl ....  :villagers:.

Obama won't have to worry, it was reported over here that he was paid US$5.9 million last year, later reports said the family received that amount, seems you pay him a lot of money for what?   :horse:

For hope and change.

I HOPE I find a job after he CHANGEd the rules so that the DOD is getting rid of contractors and going to Union gov't employees only.  Let me see, did Unions contribute to his campaign  ?

I only have one question, as I typically stay the hell away from these conversations...

The Government didn't CAUSE this economic crash, right?  It was banks who were participating in "sub-prime lending," if I recall the term correctly.  Am I right?  If I AM right, then why is everyone so angry at the GOVERNMENT for trying to FIX the problem?  I may not agree with the "bailouts" that were handed out without any kind of regulation, but the other money that the Government poured into the economy is partially responsible for the new job that I just accepted...

Folks still seem to think that Obama should have fixed everything by now.  I don't understand how ANYONE could be so naive.  I'd REALLY love to know what McCain/Palin would have done by now - especially since Palin probably would have quit already!!

OK,

It was the government who dictated to the banks that they had to lend money to people who could not pay it back.  They set the quotas,  they are the ones who threatened the banks if they did not meet those quotas.

This gives a good timeline on how the Gov't over the years made it so more and more people who couldn't pay for houses, were given loans.

Soooo you were a bail out  right ....  That means on some level you owe me and 48% of the conservatives thats got to cover your short comings . I bet you have student loans and vipers that I should also pay for am I right . Sarah Palin quit her job to focus on bigger projects rather than mooch Alaska for some easy cash But you couldn't understand such values , I could be wrong but I doubt it .GB

Remember, its not Obama, its the majority that elected his sorry ass and most of the other sitting politicians that are running this country into the ground. Our fellow Americans are to blame.
In a world where the criminal is the victim, where the hardworking is left to pay for the luxuries of the lazy, where the rights of one group supercede the rights of another, we will never win.

P G If "houses" were more sensibly built and priced, then they wouldn't have such outrageous prices AND interest rates.

We no longer have a working class,  but rather a maintnance/ service industry thats strong and well  . as for our paper pushers and tec industry , well its replaceable after all this group can be outsourced and thats the bottom line . I think the next twenty years will belong to trade school grads , an electrical contractor makes more than his counterpart the engineer and thats not all bad we are a country of fat cubicle monkeys with aspirations to have a window ,times are changing .
