Cor-maro or Ca-vette?
« on: April 14, 2010 - 12:03:27 AM »
Ever had a bad idea that when it became reality was a nightmare?  Not my flavor but maybe to a few...  :dunno:

Lookey at this:

CUSTOM CAMARO Corvette Rear not a Kit car. HANDMADE - $4000

Custom Camaro. Handmade body. Widened over a foot, lengthened 11.5", modified Corvette ZR-1 rear, Ferrari Hatch with custom spoiler molded. Over $50,000 invested in car. Full custom body- NEEDS TO BE FINISHED with fiberglass. Built by John Silva, the original builder of the Mako Shark Corvette and designer of the Dodge Viper. This car will be worth a ton when done. Roll cage, 10 disc CD changer, custom painted dash, extra seats, engraved windows. Tons of extras- hoods, hatches, shocks, etc. Built 305 cu.in. Holley 4bbl, TH350 tranny with shift kit, 10 bolt posi with 2:73 gears. Spins second gear with 12" wide tires. Now it has 14.5" wide Mickey Thompson "I-pattern" tires in rear, 12" wide in the front on Cragar "Street Star" wheels. So many modifications and add-ons to list. Must sell. Need storage. Make offer or interesting trades?? Street rod?? Runs and drives. Own a one-of-a-kind mean looking car. No other like it.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Man, that is truly hideous. I'm trying to decide what's the worst part, and I think it's the cowcatcher front end.

Did you read the seller's post?

"Must sell. Need storage. Make offer or interesting trades?? Street rod??"

Needs the storage room, but is willing to trade for a street rod.  Does that make sense?  :clueless: Well, maybe a very little street rod :2thumbs:

Someone wasted a lot of money and time.  Maybe it was a mock up for a Deathrace 2000 movie???

I read to that he might trade, seems he went out and bought all  the "sounds nice" parts and couldn't figure out how to fit or what to do with them.   :clueless:
The front could be used to scrape away the snow in winter or just cut it off and there would be another 2 - 3 feet of room.   :roflsmiley:   :smilielol:

That looks like it has an "Oh Sh!t" front bumper.  As in the first steep drive way or when you find the end of the parking stall.  It goes to show that no matter how much money you throw at something, making it uglier doesn't help.
