Lowering a Cuda
« on: October 05, 2004 - 10:13:46 PM »
As you know I am getting a 74 Barracuda, in fact im trailing it home tommorow (Wendsday) and  I have come to the decesion of lowering it, not to the point where its not drivable, just so it looks a little better and the stance is a tad meaner. Are there kits to lower the car or some sort of device to do this? and if any one has any pics of lowered cudas post em' please.

Thanks
Dave
oh yeah gettin pics up soon i hope

It simple lessen the tension in the torsion bars and put in air shocks with 10lbs of air.

Hey 74 318

love those '74s

One thing I always recommend is to buy the chassis book for questions like this.
Mopar performance is on the 9th edition now and it is a powerfull tool for getting the most
out of the perfect Chrysler platform

The 'CUDA

Don't believe me? read the book ;)

On sale now at Mancini's...$10.00

use a front leaf spring hanger with a second hole or modify the stock mount so it fits upside down to lower it 1" on the rear
