Change of plans.... I'M GOING!!!, I'M GOING!!! :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo:

It seems I have been reassigned at work to a project that is working zero overtime, so I can now get off. Also a coworker has 3 (that's three) vendor spaces that I can bring some high end parts I want to unload which will offset my expenses. Now I just need to decide if I want to book the Quality Inn @ 175 Beacon Hill Blvd (where we all used to stay) or the Rodeway across the street. The Rodeway is about 20 bucks/nite cheaper!! See ya there. Let's burn some rubber!! :droolingbounce: :burnout:

I am at the Rodeway......after how Quality Inn treated my family and I last year I wouldnt stay there if it were free.
Rodeway=decent rooms and decent prices. And near enough to the other one to jump down and join in the festivities at the end of the day (if I can stay awake this year...LOL)

I just booked the Rodeway (110 Limekiln Rd, New Cumberland). It was about $20 bucks/night cheaper than the Quality Inn and just about across the street from the Quality Inn upper parking lot gathering area. I'll be leaving tomorrow morning if I can finish up doing all my chores!! Woo-Hooo.   :droolingbounce:Is AKA "20 minutes" taking the Viper??

:pullinghair: Well I had to travel back from MA this morning to get my parts and car together to arrive at Carlisle at noon Thursday.  Get in t he Jeep aaannnnnnnd: Check Engine Light.   :banghead: So, off to a technian.  three hours and $240.00 later and our plans are getting dashed.  To be safe, I cancelled our room for Thuesday night.  So I might be there tomorrow.

We intend to bring the Barracuda convertible and put a price tag on it.  It'll be in the Car Corral...  :'(

I just booked the Marriot in Mechanicsburg for Friday night. Where are these "festivities" usually located? Maybe I am not too far....Unfortunatley I am bringing my pickup--the 4:10's in the Chally would be too much for the 4 hour drive:(

I feel yer pain man.....

Yesterday I found that the starter in the Barracuda was going bad...so rather than risk it going altogether on the trip I ran out and sourced a reman one and did that job....$123 there.  Then today I got home and found that my truck (our chase vehicle ) had a coolant leak...broken plastic filler neck (built into the hose itself).....again more tracking down parts, and another $150. Just finished that job up at 10:30......I can say that working on the fish is WAAAAAAY easier. LOL My hands are lunch meat now. Ouch.

Sheesh....I hope thats IT as far as issues with vehicles....i just want to enjoy!

I do plan on taking a floor jack, jack stands and tools "just in case" though.

Matt B.  20/night cheaper?  It was only 55/night?  I got 6 nights for 465 incl all taxes and fees?  Anywho, your right next door.  I had to get something with a pool for the misses.

Dave,

This is your official 12 month notice of Carlisle 2011.     :poopoke:

You would probably have more options in flying into BWI down here rather than Harrisburg up there. Yeah, I'll help ya if it will get your butt out here.
