Ford Probe- Always reminded me of a prostate exam or an automotive dildo.   :misbehaving:

Pontiac Parisienne- it's still a piece of crap Chevrolet, not some fancy, fluffy, chic,
                          chick magnet of a car.

Daihatsu Naked- yes this is a real name.  :faint:  What were they thinking?

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

The one I always/still laugh at is (and I'm going to butcher this spelling) in Pueguot  :roflsmiley: That thing looked ugly but supposedly a well crafted car with hydraulics even back in the 60's. If I could spell it right  :roflsmiley: I could maybe do a search and find a couple pics.  Anyone?

What does that name mean?
1969 Polara 500 vert.
1970 Charger 500

1972 R/R 440+6 (wanabe)

Unfortunately I can't post pics at work but I'll do this instead, here's the google picture search for Puegeot.

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&q=peugeot&gbv=2&aq=0s&aqi=g-s1g-sx1g-s1g-sx2g-s1g-sx4&aql=&oq=puegot&gs_rfai=

They are a French company, and second largest in the EU.  They ride decently.  Emile Peugeot is the name of the founder.  They started out as a coffee mill company in early 1800s. They went to bicycles and then to cars.  They have an interesting history.  In 1978 they took over Chrystler EU.

Worst car name?  Peugeot's Chinese car Dongfeng!

Understeer is hitting the wall with your front end.
Oversteer is hitting the wall with your back end.
Horsepower is how fast you can hit the wall.
Torque is how far you can push that wall after you hit it.

Back in the 70's, Chevrolet couldn't figure out why Nova's weren't selling in Mexico.
No Va means No Go in Spanish.

Fiero...what's a Fiero?

Sonata...is that what you get when you catch a cold?

Sonata -- probably meant it to mean "a song " or something like that....

"Sonata (from Latin and Italian sonare, "to sound"), in music, literally means a piece played as opposed to a cantata (Latin and Italian cantare, "to sing"), a piece sung. The term, being vague, naturally evolved through the history of music, designating a variety of forms prior to the Classical era. The term took on increasing importance in the Classical period, and by the early 19th century the word came to represent a principle of composing large scale works. It was applied to most instrumental genres and regarded alongside the fugue as one of two fundamental methods of organizing, interpreting and analyzing concert music. Though the sound of sonatas has changed since the Classical Era, 20th century sonatas still maintain the same structure and build."
