My buddies 97? grand am was doing some weird stuff like that and it turned out to be of all things, a loose positive battery cable.
It's always the simplest thing that you check last, trust me I know  :lol:

That happened to my Challenger last week.  Checking this, that, and the other...bingo, loose positve battery terminal!  :faint:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Well guys...........the Buick is gone.   She got tired of waiting and traded.  We have asked the dealer to tell us when they figure out the problem but it was in the shop close to  2 weeks now and still no word on the gremlin.  If I get an answer, I will post.  Thanks to all who helped.
