My Grandmother didn't have a wood shed, but it sure was easy for her to find that switch.  I couldn't agree more with that citizen.

America wouldn't have such a large drug problem if people would still spend time with their kids, discipoine their kids, and teach their kids.
Now it seems the divorce rate is sky high.  Gays are everywhere.
Families are watching tv and using the computer all the time.

We need(as Americans) to loose the politically correctness and whip them kids asses.

:iagree:  Well said!  Unfortunately it's a by-product of our society that in most household both the mother and father need to work to stay afloat.  Both come home physically and mentally tired and don't want to deal with their kids but would rather hand them over to someone else to take care of them or teach them or else bury their kids with trechnology/video games that are now the modern day baby sitter.  They expect other people to raise their kids or have the schools teach them common sense, respect, and common courtesy... as if the schools aren't already over burdened.  Laws are being made to replace common sense.  (I live near Boston that has pedestrian laws so that now MANY pedestrians don't even look when they cross the street because they are ENTITLED.  Scheesh, a law won't protect you when a 4,000lb car is on top of you!)  Kids are being taught that they are entitle to everything, not like years ago when you had to earn everything and work your way to the top.

Cliff note version: Parents need to be more involved with their kids.

Great article, Terry!
