Console replacement.
« on: April 23, 2010 - 10:24:41 PM »
Can you replace the standard barracuda drivers side instrument panel with the high option wood grain gauge panel? How hard is the project in you estimation? Is it hard to find the wood grain type console? Is there an aftermarket one? How much would I expect to pay?

Thanks once more!

I think you're asking about a standard guage to rallye guage conversion.

It's not an overly difficult task, but involves changing quite a few parts, including replacing or modifying the main wiring harness.

I bet Wade can point us to a thread or two covering this topic.

You'll have to go used or spend big $$ on a refurbished setup from RTE.

The 72-4's are usually cheaper than the 70-71's.
