My new '72 'Cuda
« on: April 24, 2010 - 09:14:27 PM »
This is my new '72 340 Cuda. I'm so glad I'm finally able to drive one after 6 years of restoring my '72 Rallye Red 318 Barracuda.
I'll try to post more pics soon!
Thanks for looking   :burnout:

Sharp.  I know black is hard to do but it looks good.

I like the looks of the stripe on your dark car . . . I was considering doing that stripe on my black car.

I know! I've seen the stripe on other '72's with a lighter color and was never to sure about it but it looks great on the darker cars! I'll take more pics of the stripe for ya

Yeah, it is original! It has one small chip I'll be repairing, but you really have to look close. She was garaged for the last 10 years and in that time was driven less than 1000 miles. I'm very much a purist and plan to keep it as stock as possible. I've repainted the interior panels since they were slightly sun bleached but I plan to make this car look the way she came off the lot in '72.

...I did add wider rallyes and overstock leafs in the rear for that aggressive stance, but I'm still keeping the originals :cooldancing:
