XHD leaf springs

So I just ordered and received the MOPAR xHD leaf springs cause my driver side spring was sagging badly.  The new leafs I got do not appear at all similar, very asymmetrical. I just wanted to confirm that they look right before i start the swap.  Thanks.  I attached a pic below.

that is correct , the Mopar springs are alway different left to right to control torque , the spring ending in 4 is the right side / Passenger side

le sigh. So my passenger side came off easy, unfortunately, My driver side rear spring shackle tore apart when I was taking it off.  Basically, the bolt sheared off. 

I REALLY need to move the car from where I was working on it this weekend. Anyone know of any normal auto parts stores (Autozone, advance auto, etc) that might have a new shackle. Also, if anyone knows of any specialty stores near Washington, DC, lemme know.

I have stock set with the bolts if your stuck? But I'm in Canada so it won't get there for this wekend for sure!

yeah, looks like Im going to have to just order a set. I am going to have to just drill/grind out the lower bolt, stick in a carriage bolt so I can get it back in the garage tomorrow.

Yes they are not symetrical. The funny thing is I 've got them on NIKKI and really like the stance,  :2thumbs: my buddy put them on his RT/SE ... I could swear the arc was a bit different. The  car sat much lower in the rear!   :dunno:

I have those same springs with a rear sway bar and kyb gas a matic shocks. Rides like a 2 horse wagon. Hope yours is better. I have a '71 Challenger.

Got them with air shocks (but no sway). That car beats the snot out of me.

Once I get some shorter tires out back, I'll ditch the air shocks, but I think it's just the nature of the beast.

I ran XHD springs in my Charger and it rode much better. Guess more weight and longer wheel base makes the difference.

Note that it could take a week or so for the ride height to settle in.

Note the shocks asociated with these complaints. Shocks control the manners/operating range of a suspension much like a cam controls the manner/operating range of a engine.

Well, my other car is a CJ7... so I know rough rides.  I Think it will be ok.  My main concern is that it doesnt scrape the wheel well on the driver side and is level again.  I'll post a few pics tonight.

I had KYBs on a CJ5 once and they were harsh. Once I switched to Rancho adjustables, it became much more tolerable.
