I went and visited the car to day. It is really coming along great. Sorry but I forgot to take my camera. I'll get pictures the next time I go. The hood, fenders and doors are ready for paint. The new sheet metal (quarters panel, trunk lid and rear valance) are suppose to be at the shop tomorrow. I was really impressed with the progress.
As far as my neck goes. I am doing pretty good. Not any pain at all. Just a little tingling in my back. I'm suppose to go back to see the doc on the 25th for a follow up appointment.

Great news all around, not everyone gets that kind of service...Be Very sure to take advantage of every medical exam you can, you don't want to live with spine/back problems.

You're too fast Brooks. I was still posting when you were looking. You ought to run by and check it out over at the body shop.

I feel pretty good. No real hurt per se. but I still have this tingling sensation across my back that goes down my arm to the finger tips. The doc had me do some x-rays yesterday and will be doing an MRI next week. No diagnosis yet.
Thanks for your concern.

Glad to see things working out to your satisfaction. When I saw the first pics of the 'rear ender', with the rear quarters hitting the doors, I thought you were going to have BIG problems. Fantastic that you didn't.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

The guys at the shop told me that they believe the damage would have been much worse if I didn't have the frame connectors welded in.
My suggestion, If you are building one of these cars, especially a convertible, put frame connectors in it.
