Wow - I am glad that everyone is OK, but that really sucks.  I hope you can fix it.

Glad to hear everyone is ok but boy it just makes me sick to my stomach to see that happen to such a beautiful car.  I really feel for ya.  In the past ten years, I've been involved in two accidents.  In both instances I was stopped at a red light and was hit from behind and both times it was a woman who was distracted by her kids in the back seat.

Good luck, I hope things work out with the insurance and the repair.

Glad everybody was ok.
I can't believe you are being so calm about this, those pictures make me sick :puke:
This is the reason why my car gets so little use, you can't drive for everybody else, I always try to leave room around me as a buffer. You know what? It takes all the enjoyment out of driving the car. I so wish Chrysler would make a new vert so I could buy one and enjoy it more.

I hope your car is able to be fixed "better" than it was!!

That sucks. Seeing the quarter/door damage and fuel tank damage is scary. How do the frame rails look?

Man,
I am so sorry about this. I get nervous driving mine sometimes thinking it might happen again. I've had it happen too. Your story sounds like what happened to CrazyPete just last year to his AAR. I hope this insurance takes care of it all and glad no one was hurt!!

Wow dude that really sucks!! It makes me sick to look at it. After I realized that everyone was OK I would have been ready to rip someones head off. There is absolutley no excuse for rear ending someone in my book... Period!! At least it looks very fixable. Good luck! :2thumbs:

I think the frame rails are OK but I haven't really checked them out too well yet. I'll check it out better tomorrow. I really don't want to even look at it at the moment. I kind of get that sick feeling in my stomach everytime I look at it as you can imagine.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I really appreciate it. I've got to believe things will work out.

I can understand that, when I wrecked my Challenger back in 2002 I couldn't look at it either. Hang in there, just don't let the insurance company jerk you around.

Jesus Christ man that full on Blows.  :villagers:

Insurance has to pay, so I'd be turning that over to a good shop and have it all done. We are here for you man, just stick it out. Let us know what parts you need.

Ouch!

My T/A got hit three times in six months, twice in the same fender, luckily it had not been repaired yet. That was over 20 years ago, but it still hurts & it was not nearly as serious as what happened to yours.

Honestly I'd take it to a body shop and say, "okay guys give me a quote". Then after her insurance gave what they would (with maybe a little help from yours) I'd have the body shop fix it lol. But that's me. I personally would be too frustrated too fix it considering it was just finished not too long ago.
