Man,scary stuff!I had a similar situation happen a few years ago with a car I had just put a lot of work into and was going to sell.It was a `74 road runner, just a 318 car but I bought it for $400 and did lots of work to it.I had just got it all painted Limelight and running good and decided to take it out to meet some friends for dinner. On the way home my wife mentioned it was a little cold out and I should be carefull as there had been a quick shower earlier and it could be icy.I of course blew her off saying it was only down to 35 or 36 degreees and not to worry.
Then not 1 mile later coming around a curve on a narrow side road I hit a patch of ice doing 30-35 mph.The back end of the car came around and I was all hands and elbows trying to keep from hitting a pole or a tree which of course lined both sides of the road.Somehow I saved it after swerving back and forth 3 or 4 times and continued home at a very slow pace.My wife didn`t say a word till we got home but she reminds me of that night anytime she has to tell me to slow down and now I listen.
Isn`t adrenalin a good thing Burpin as it lets you do things you couldn`t normally?
