Good 6x9 speakers
« on: May 05, 2010 - 09:52:17 AM »
One of my 14 year old speakers has crapped out and I am in the market for a new set.  I haven't kept in touch with the car audio scene...who makes a good quality speaker at a reasonable price.  I think the ones I bought before were Infinty Kappas?

Let me know how you like them.  I'm in the same boat.  What did you end up picking them up for and are you using an amp?

Got them at Crutchfield in scratch-n-dent section....think they were 190.00??  I am using an older 2 channel MTX amp...80W into 4ohms, 150 into 2 ohms.  I replaces a set of Infinity Kappas with these and the first thing I noticed was that the Polks are more efficient.  The sound is as good or better than the Kappas.  I recommend them.

I've always loved Infinity speakers, especially the 3-ways.

That's what I put in the Cuda and for only a 2 speaker set-up I'm lovin' them.
Now I gotta get out and get a set for the Challenger.
