This all boils down to how much you want to $pend. I run Edelbrocks, 0.92" torsion bars, front and rear sway bars, poly bushings throughout the car, 275s on rear and 235s on front and she goes around corners with confidence. Does not ride stiff in my opinion. Spend more $$ though and you get better. would like more psoitive steering though.

An adjustable unit will allow you to tinker with the ride if you like to vary it. If your stepping up t-bars or leaf rates considerably, most fixed rate shocks won't be able to control the motion, unless  you get into more specialized racing type shocks, so adjustable are a much better choice in those applications.

So, what rates are you using, and how do you intended to utilize them on the car? Cruise to shows, spirited driving, autocross, road racing, and most importantly, how much are you willing to spend?

Didi you get adjustable or fixed rate? QA1 now offers a fixed rate shock that is around $100 each, but still has better valving and the nice aluminum body.

cool i was looking at the eddys too,the only thing that turned me away was i wouldnt have enough travel on the shock when my car was lowered down,i dropped my car about 21/2 to 3inchs total in the rear and with the QA1's i got plenty of travel, now im getting everything ready to rebuild my front and lower it down
