    I put Eddy's on all four corners of my Challenger.  They are a great improvement up front over the KYB's...noticed an improved ride/handling right off the bat.  Not so sure about the rear Eddy's.  The stability is certainly improved, but the ride in the back now seems a bit stiff.  The car does feel way better at speed too.  Overall I am happy with them and won't think of going back to the KYB's.  :2thumbs:

    [/quote i havent set them up yet,there just installed..you will have to adjust them to how you like the ride..

    You  might want to start with 6 or 7 clicks up front and 2 or 3 on the back.

    Ya I was just looking for an easy starting point   :rofl: I think ill try starting in the middle and tune up or down as needed.

    Does anyone run Konis on their car?  I've always heard good things about them and know they sell a set for E Bodys but haven't heard any owner's opinions.  If QA1's are all that I may go that route but it will definitely mean waiting a while because I don't have $1k to spare right now.  Not that the Konis would be cheap exactly!

    As a starting point, yes. Consider that the front wheel rates may be about 1500# compared to the rears 200# and need considerably less control in back compared to the front. Over time you will be sneaking up on the ideal balance based on your usage, so you don't want the rear too firm to start with or you will get porpoising.

    But they are adjustable, so you can always experiment with radical tuning just to see the results. We did have a member last summer who started out too high on the rear and too low on the front and the resulting performance kinda freaked him out.

    What did you use to make up the ½ inch width in the upper rear shock mount?

    The qa1;s Didn’t include a longer bushing inset to fill the frame to make it a snug no shifting fit.

    Im thinking a ¼ inch spacer on each side of the shock???  :eek4:

    yea shim it with some large area washers you will have to find the right thickness but that is what i did

    I think it would be cool to have the adjustability of the QA1s, but I got the Bilsteins from Hotchkis (also available from Firm Feel), and with 1" torsion bars and the Espo rear springs, they made an amazing difference.  The handling is obviously better, but the ride actually improved quite noticeably over rough surfaces.
