Maybe you were sent on a "vacation"?

Did you post any questionable content?

I don't bother going there anymore now due to "problems" there, just tried for bb71challengers benefit as I still had a link.

Ya I just tried it to and got right on. Maybe it was something he said that ruffled the elite's feathers over there. Either way I wouldn't consider it much of a loss.

I started a thread the other day that got quickly locked, but my login is still OK.  No vacation.  I think they send you a PM on Moparts or email to inform you if you are on vacation or banned. :2cents:

A Moparts member contacted me in March after I posted in a thread about '450 steel wheels saying one of my set didn't have a date code that matched my other 3. He said he had one with the right date code he found out in his garage that he'd sell.  He sold it to me for a good price, and I turned around and listed my earlier date code '450 steel wheel in the Moparts ads, and quickly sold it for a nice price that more than covered my new purchase and having the new one repainted.  So I'm feeling pretty good about Moparts these days! :worshippy

The knowledge i've gained (and continue to gain) from Moparts easily outweighs any friction i've noticed.  :chatting:

I know what i don't know - and it could fill a phone book - so i'm no threat to anyone :)

I have a good idea I was dropped because I sleuthed out the dudes number and called his house. He was the one that left me hanging, not the other way around. If that is how elitist they are over there then I say ****'em

For any group of people, if you judge the whole group by the bad members within it, then the bad guys win.

All large forums have clicks.  Just ignore them.  I've been on Moparts 10 years, been banned a few time, I just don't care what other people write about me from a keyboard on the other side of the country.  Stand up for what's right and don't back down.

That site has rules, just like this site.  You break the rules, you get a vacation.  If you have a problem with the way the situation was handled you can email Tom or another mod, most have their email address somewhere on the site.  I've emailed with Tom a few times about being banned, some I understood why, others I didn't and usually got repealed.
