Never trust a jack, always use a stand!  Looks like the fender is still in good condition . . . hope it goes back together easy.  :eek4:

Sorry to see that happen, get a real lug wrench too. There is no way you can properly get those wheels to spec with that 3/8" ratchet..

Did the jack let go?  I feel for you, it looks like a mess and maybe expensive.

Sorry about this, but a modern jack like that won't cut it on an old car. You need a beefier hydraulic jack with a wider base, so it won't be prone to tilt.

OUCH!! Glad it didn't fall on you.That being said I agree with other comments.That jack has got to go.A small floor jack would be a better choice.A jackstand for a backup cause jacks will fail on you.And get yourself a 4-way lug wrench.You'll ask yourself, "why haven't I used one of these before"
