    Another great rocker gone! RIP Ronnie James Dio.  :ylsuper:  :angelwings:

    I once saw him in concert many years ago. They opened the show with this song. Was a great show back then.

      He replaced Ozzy after he left Black Sabbath. I loved his music.    :angelwings:

    Just heard about the passing on our rock station KATT 100.5  :(
    Told the wife.
    Article says he passed away due to stomach cancer at the age of 67...

    I'm not often moved by the passing of someone I never knew. This one hurt. If you haven't seen it, buy the DVD of Heaven 'n Hell Live at the Radio City Music Hall. A fitting swan song if there ever was one.

    That sux! Dio was awesome! Definitely one of the classic Metal voices, too bad he's gone now. I fear Ozzy's not far behind....

    Wow that sucks!!!  I've seen Dio more than a few times since the 80's. He had the ultimate metal voice, and put on one hell of a concert!
      He had so many killer songs........... I'm listening to "Man on the Silver Mountain" right now!
     For those who want a great CD of some of Dios best songs, go out and get "DIO  Stand up and Shout Anthology"
     It has songs from when he was in a band called "ELF", Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and of course many of his Dio songs (29 songs total)

     Rest in Peace Ronnie James Dio, thanks for the great music! :ylsuper:
